Why I'm Running

As the business manager for my family’s construction company, I have a keen understanding of Michigan’s economic climate. Our state’s economic strategy must be one that is attractive to business and acts as a catalyst to growth and job creation. Our tax structure must be fair and balanced. This will provide enough state income for the services we need while avoiding surplus or wasteful spending.

I believe Northern Michigan is the ideal place to work, live, learn and raise a family. Born and raised in Emmet County, I have been able to experience firsthand the beauty of my home as I attended school, worked for my father and traveled across the bridge as a Junior A hockey player. This is one of the most beautiful locations in the world, and needs to be preserved for its natural beauty and unique history.

As a candidate for the 107th district of Michigan’s House of Representatives I will not presume to have all the answers. What I offer are eager ears and an open mind. Representatives make decisions which affect the way we live our lives and our ability to provide for those that we care about. It is your concerns and opinions that I want to represent in Lansing. I promise to reach out to as many people as I can so that I can truly understand the priorities of this district and fight for those priorities as your representative.
